Let me introduce myself!

My name is Zoe. I am a Level 3 qualified Mat based Pilates Instructor. My Mum introduced me to Pilates some 20 years ago and I fell in love with it. I always had an interest in all forms of exercise and love to nurture my body and mind.  My Mum would always tell me you should train to be a Pilates instructor. Of course, I never listened to her to start with and continued my office job for many years, and bringing up my two children.

Things changed for me when my Mum was diagnosed with dementia, and I soon realised my Mum was right! So, I trained to be an instructor and qualified in 2023. My Mum can no longer participate in group classes due to dementia, however I do Pilates with her every week, and I am amazed at how the years of Pilates my Mum did has provided her with good balance, stability and strength even through her illness. This just highlighted to me even more the power of Pilates, it can improve your strength, with great focus on core strength, balance, flexibility and overall mobility. It also reduces the risk of injury so is widely used by athletes.

My focus as your Pilates Instructor is to provide you classes that encourage and inspire you to lead a healthy lifestyle and positive change within your body and mind from focusing on correct Pilates technique whilst moving your body.  

Pilates is for everyone and every “body” it’s a safe and effective method that will enable you to look and feel your very best.
